Our employees are our most valuable resource, and we encourage a consistent professional development by housing regular CPDs and mentoring. This enables us to nurture the individual talents of our employees. We also frequently take on enthusiastic A level pupils as short summer interns who wish to follow an Architectural career.
To maintain a consistent design quality throughout all of our projects, we hold regular Monday morning briefings, continual design and technical reviews.
Our open plan non- hierarchical design studio allows us to comfortably communicate with one another to develop and deliver each project as a team. Here at the UK SBA office we house a multicultural family of over 30 staff and are in the process of growing.
On a regular basis we organise office and networking social events to maintain a robust bond and confidence within our internal and external teams. Our staffs are stimulated to present creative and informal monthly presentations to the team in internal social events. During the summer we have hosted a number of social events such as the summer party and staff Architectural trips to mainland Europe.
We also focus on activities outside the office to endorse a strong relationship with our local communities and charities. Throughout the year we have been involved with a number of charities including; Shelter, Save the Children, Cancer Research UK and Police Charities. UK staff have also recently given their personal leave time to support construction and community development initiatives in the developing world. This year the London office took part in the Vertical Rush challenge, where we managed to raise £1,300 for Shelter.
