Hampshire Cancer Treatment Centre
Hampshire County, United Kingdom
The proposed design for this center focuses on supporting not only cancer patients but also their primary care givers, families, friends, and the staff members providing education and care. Even though it will be filled with state-of-the-art technology, the space is designed to be as natural and comfortable as possible, with plentiful day-lighting and calming furnishings. Waiting areas and patient circulation spaces open onto landscaping and feature sweeping views of the central courtyard and green space, promoting a healing environment and contact with nature. The facility houses chemotherapy, radiation therapy, an exam consultation suite, and patient education services.
